Rock ‘n’ Roll Party – Honoring is a 2011 rock CD by Jeff Beck celebrating the legacy of Les Paul, the pioneering guitarist who served as Beck’s inspiration and mentor. Recorded live in June 2010 at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City, where Les Paul performed weekly for 14 years, this tribute features Beck’s electric guitar interpretations of classic rock and roll standards from that era. The performance brought together notable guest musicians including The Imelda May Band, Brian Setzer, Gary “U.S.” Bonds, and Trombone Shorty to honor what would have been Paul’s 95th birthday.

This CD contains 20 live tracks from the evening, including Double Talkin’ Baby, How High The Moon, The Train It Kept A Rollin’, Cry Me A River, Cruisin’, Sitting On Top Of The World, Bye Bye Blues, The World Is Waiting For The Sunrise, and Vaya Con Dios, among others. Released on the ATCO label, the album captures an exclusive concert celebrating Beck’s deep respect and admiration for his musical hero. Add this live recording to your collection at a used price that makes it an easy choice.
