Mel Brooks directs this 1993 comedy adventure starring Cary Elwes as Robin of Loxley, a crusading nobleman who escapes from a Jerusalem prison and returns home to discover that the villainous Prince John has seized his family estate and is tyrannizing the English people. Determined to reclaim what is his and challenge the despot’s rule, Robin recruits a ragtag group of allies including his blind attendant Blinkin, his friend Will Scarlett O’Hara, and the formidable Little John. Along the way, Robin sets his sights on winning the heart of the beautiful Maid Marian, though her chastity belt presents an unexpected obstacle to romance.
