Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes / Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes (Double Feature)

Movie / Show Details

This double feature collects two sci-fi action thrillers from 2011 and 2014. Rise of the Planet of the Apes follows Caesar, a chimpanzee who gains human-like intelligence through an experimental drug and is raised by the scientist who created it. When Caesar is taken from his human family and imprisoned in a sanctuary, he orchestrates an escape by sharing the drug with fellow apes, setting man and ape on a collision course. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes picks up a decade later, as Caesar now leads a growing nation of evolved apes that comes into conflict with human survivors of a devastating virus. Both films explore the struggle between humanity and an emerging ape society, starring Andy Serkis as Caesar alongside Karin Konoval and Terry Notary, with direction from Rupert Wyatt.

Both films are presented on a single DVD disc with a combined runtime of three hours and fifty-five minutes, rated PG-13. You can own this used double feature and enjoy two chapters of the franchise without the cost of purchasing them separately.
