Reinventing The Heartbeat is a 2009 experimental rock album by E For Explosion, the solo project of Jamison Covington, frontman of Jamisonparker. Drawing inspiration from post-punk pioneers like The Cure and Joy Division, the album moves away from emo sensibilities toward layered soundscapes built from melancholy acoustic guitars, droning synthesizers, and atmospheric textures that explore early 1990s aesthetics throughout.

This CD on the CAR.D label contains eleven tracks including the title song, Paper Flowers Never Die, and Lies Lies Lies. Grab this used copy and own a piece of unconventional rock that rewards close listening.
