Red Sparowes and Gregor Samsa unite for this split CD release on Robotic Empire. Gregor Samsa, hailing from Richmond, VA, contributes two tracks of dark ambient and rock music featuring haunting male and female vocals layered over atmospheric guitars, keys, and string arrangements. One track previews their forthcoming full-length album while the other appears exclusively here. Los Angeles-based Red Sparowes deliver two instrumental compositions that showcase their moving, intense sound, with one new track and a demo version of a song from their debut At The Soundless Dawn. Both bands draw inspiration from shoegaze traditions while crafting their own modern take on powerful independent music.

This split CD contains four tracks total from two innovative post-rock and ambient acts. Get both bands on one disc at a used price that beats buying them separately.
