Movie / Show Details

Robert Altman directed this 1992 comedy-thriller about Griffin Mill, a Hollywood studio executive played by Tim Robbins, who receives threatening messages from a rejected screenwriter. When paranoia and pressure mount, Griffin accidentally kills screenwriter David Kahane, setting off a chain of events that unravels both his career and personal life. Greta Scacchi and Fred Ward round out the cast in Altman’s darkly satirical take on corporate corruption and moral compromise within the film industry, a story adapted by Michael Tolkin from his own novel.
