Planet Earth is a BBC nature documentary series that premiered in 2006, featuring narration by David Attenborough alongside contributions from Nikolay Drozdov and Sigourney Weaver. Directed by Alastair Fothergill and Mark Linfield, the series takes viewers across all continents to explore Earth’s most diverse ecosystems and the wildlife that inhabits them. Through innovative time-lapse and aerial cinematography, the program reveals how animals have adapted to survive in extreme environments, from the frozen polar regions to lush tropical forests and everything in between.

This 5-DVD collector’s edition set from 2 Entertain contains nearly nine hours of content across five discs. Disc 1 covers Pole to Pole, Mountains, and Deep Ocean; Disc 2 explores Deserts, Ice Worlds, and Shallow Seas; Disc 3 features Great Plains, Jungles, and Fresh Water; Disc 4 presents Seasonal Forests and Caves; and Disc 5 is a bonus disc with Planet Earth: The Future. Rated TV-PG, this boxed set offers a comprehensive look at our planet’s natural wonders in a format you can own and revisit.
