The Brothers Barton are a bluegrass duo from Bakersfield who have built their reputation playing acoustic venues and festivals throughout the region. Paul handles mandolin while Loren plays guitar, and together they perform a mix of traditional and original instrumental pieces and songs. Their musicianship has earned recognition from local music writers and fellow bluegrass musicians alike. For this recording project, veteran bluegrass icon Richard Greene joins the brothers, with the group touring as Richard Greene and the Brothers Barton.

Originals is a CD from The Brothers Barton, released on their own label. The Brothers Barton keep bluegrass tradition alive while pushing it forward with imaginative arrangements that feel spontaneous and accessible rather than purely preservationist. You can own this used CD at a fraction of retail cost.
