Director John Moore’s 2006 horror remake reimagines the 1976 classic with updated scares and modern sensibilities. When U.S. diplomat Robert Thorn, played by Liev Schreiber, secretly substitutes an orphaned child for his own stillborn son, he sets in motion a chain of terrifying events. His wife, unaware of the deception, begins to witness a series of gruesome murders and receive ominous warnings that lead the couple to a horrifying truth: their adopted son is the offspring of Satan himself.

This single-disc DVD release runs 110 minutes and carries an R rating for violence and disturbing imagery.
