Paul McCartney released Off the Ground in 1993, following the success of his previous album Flowers in the Dirt and its accompanying world tour. The former Beatle recorded with his wife Linda alongside musicians including Blair Cunningham from Haircut 100, Robbie McIntosh of The Pretenders, Hamish Stuart from Average White Band, and Paul Wickens. The album showcases a straightforward, uncluttered rock sound that ranges from understated to energetic, featuring tracks like “Looking for Changes,” “Biker Like An Icon,” and the single “Hope of Deliverance.”

This CD pressing comes from EMI and is out of print in the U.S. market.
