Nip/Tuck: The Complete First Season (Repackage)
Hotshot plastic surgeon Christian Troy (Julian McMahon) enjoys all the perks of the successful and growing Miami practice that he shares with his best friend, Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh). But while the money and women continue to satisfy Christian’s needs, years of selling a phony image have taken their toll on Sean and distanced him from his wife, Julia (Joely Richardson), and children. This edgy medical drama from Ryan Murphy (“Popular”) explores the dark side of plastic surgery and the painful — and sometimes violent — lengths people will go to in their quest for external beauty. See the show that has been a cultural phenomenon from the start. Season One story lines include bettering a botched sex-change operation, an elderly woman who is addicted to plastic surgery of any form, the possibility of taking on a surgery contract with the porn industry, and many other titillating topics. ]]>
