Night Court is a comedy series that premiered in 1984 on NBC, starring Harry Anderson as Judge Harold T. Stone, a young and unconventional jurist who presides over the night shift of a New York courtroom. Alongside Anderson is an eccentric ensemble cast including John Larroquette as the brash assistant district attorney Dan, Richard Moll as the imposing bailiff Bull, Karen Austin as the uptight court clerk Lana, and Selma Diamond as a grizzled bailiff. The show follows Judge Stone as he navigates an endless parade of bizarre and petty cases while his staff members engage in their own comedic antics and personal dramas.
