Ned and Stacey is a 1995 sitcom starring Thomas Haden Church and Debra Messing as two strangers who enter into a marriage of convenience. Ned is a self-satisfied advertising executive who needs a wife to advance his career, while Stacey is a free-spirited freelance writer who cannot afford her own apartment. Introduced by mutual friends-Stacey’s sister Amanda and Ned’s coworker Eric-the couple despise each other at first sight but decide to marry anyway. As they navigate their unconventional arrangement, they continue dating other people while learning that their loveless union may actually be healthier than the marriages around them.

This first season is presented on one DVD disc with a runtime of eight hours and fifty-five minutes. The series was created by Amy Toomin Straus, Jill Condon, and Michael J. Weithorn, and directed by Alan Myerson, Lee Shallat Chemel, and Rob Schiller. It also features Nadia Dajani and Greg Germann in supporting roles.
