My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic is an animated series that debuted in 2010, created by Lauren Faust and developed by Bonnie Zacherle. The show follows Twilight Sparkle, a unicorn sent by Princess Celestia to the town of Ponyville to learn that friendship is as important as magic itself. There she meets five special ponies who become her closest friends, and together they embark on adventures throughout the magical land of Equestria while discovering the true power of friendship.
