Mostly Kosher is a Southern California-based ensemble dedicated to reviving Jewish culture through music and theater. Led by multi-instrumentalist and vocalist Leeav Sofer, the group blends traditional klezmer and Yiddish melodies with contemporary influences, drawing on storytelling and humor rooted in Jewish tradition. The ensemble features Sofer on clarinet and piano alongside violinist Janice Mautner Markham, Cantor Faith Steinsnyder, and musicians Casey Solow, Mike King, Will Brahm, Adam Levy, Eric Hagstrom, and Michael Bolger, having performed at venues including the Skirball Cultural Center, John Anson Ford Theater, and Gene Autry Museum.

This CD captures the group’s energetic and heartfelt performances. Grab a used copy and experience the blend of upbeat instrumental passages and moving vocal traditions that define their sound.
