Mortal Kombat: Annihilation is a 1997 action fantasy film directed by John R. Leonetti and based on the video game created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. Following the events of the first film, Earth Realm warriors Liu Kang, Raiden, Jax, Sonya, and Kitana face a new threat when the evil Outworld leader Shao Kahn and his generals launch an invasion across dimensions. With only six days to prevent the Earth Realm from merging with Outworld, the fighters must engage in martial arts combat and supernatural battles to stop the warlord and preserve their world. The ensemble cast includes Robin Shou, James Remar, Lynn ‘Red’ Williams, Sandra Hess, and Talisa Soto.
