Moonstalker is a 1989 slasher horror film directed by Michael O’Rourke and starring Blake Gibbons, Ingrid Vold, and John Marzilli. When a seemingly harmless drifter named Pop arrives at a mountain campsite with tales of lost loved ones, a vacationing family welcomes him into their circle. Unknown to them, Pop harbors a dark secret: his son Bernie, a dangerous and unstable man, is locked away in Pop’s trailer. As Bernie is released to prey on unsuspecting campers and tourists in the area, a nearby wilderness training group led by Regis and his volatile girlfriend Marcie begins to experience disappearances. An aging police officer named Taylor recognizes Pop from a murderous rampage years past and races to the wilderness camp to stop the carnage, leading to a deadly cat-and-mouse game in the frozen woods.
