Eric Colvin composed the orchestral scores for two TNT television Westerns released in 2003: Monte Walsh and Crossfire Trail, both directed by Simon Wincer and starring Tom Selleck. The Monte Walsh score accompanies a story set in the Old West, while Crossfire Trail offers another chapter in Selleck’s Western adventures under Wincer’s direction.

This La-La Land Records CD presents Colvin’s instrumental Western compositions from both films, spanning tracks like the Monte Walsh Main Title, Train Fight, and an exclusive long version of Cowboy Lullaby written by Academy Award-winning songwriter Keith Carradine and performed by Carradine alongside Selleck.
