Miracle on the 17th Green is a 1999 made-for-TV drama directed by Michael Switzer and based on a James Patterson novel. Robert Urich stars as Mitch McKinley, a middle-aged advertising executive whose world changes when he loses his job. Rather than accept his circumstances, Mitch decides to chase a lifelong dream by attempting to qualify for the PGA Senior Tour. Meredith Baxter plays his wife, who watches as Mitch’s single-minded pursuit of golf stardom begins to damage his marriage and relationships with his family. The film explores the tension between personal ambition and the bonds that matter most.
