Midnight in Paris

Movie / Show Details

Woody Allen directs this 2011 romantic fantasy-comedy following Gil, a screenwriter who finds himself transported back to 1920s Paris each night while visiting the city with his fiancée and her parents. Dissatisfied with his lucrative Hollywood career, Gil dreams of abandoning the film industry to write a novel, and his nightly journeys into Paris’s bohemian past introduce him to literary and artistic legends including Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Picasso, and Dali. The film explores how each generation romanticizes a previous era as a golden age, while Gil discovers truths about art, love, and ambition across two different time periods.

This single-disc Blu-ray release from Sony Pictures Classics presents the film in its full 94-minute runtime with a PG-13 rating.
