CD Details
Michael Grimm’s self-titled 2011 album marks the America’s Got Talent season five winner’s return to his roots in Americana and blue-eyed soul. Working with Grammy-winning producer Don Was, known for his work with The Rolling Stones, Elton John, and Bonnie Raitt, Grimm crafted a collection of original compositions and classic covers that showcase his mature, soulful vocal delivery across rock, country, and soul influences. The album features contributions from an impressive lineup of musicians including Ann Wilson of Heart, Ian McLagan from the Faces, bassist Davey Faragher, and guitarist Waddy Wachtel, alongside drummer Kenny Aronoff, who has played on over 30 Grammy-nominated albums.
Released on Sony Legacy, this CD contains twelve tracks including “Gasoline And Matches,” “Stay With Me (Baby),” “Simple Man,” “No Other Love,” “Champagne And Wine,” “Let’s Make Love Again,” “Red,” “Suddenly You Are,” “Fallin’,” and “I Am.” Picking up this used copy gives you access to a carefully crafted rock album that earned Grimm recognition as a fan favorite.
