Directed by Luis Alcoriza, Mecanica Nacional is a 1972 Mexican comedy that uses a national car race as the backdrop for satirizing Mexican culture and society. As drivers converge from across the country for the event, the highways descend into chaos and gridlock that proves far more dangerous than the actual racetrack. Traffic violations, confrontations, and various misadventures unfold among a cast including Alejandro Ciangherotti, Alma Muriel, Aurora Clavel, and Fernando Casanova, creating a riotous portrait of interconnected stories that blend humor with social commentary.

This single-disc DVD presents the film in its original language, offering a window into Latin American cinema from the early 1970s. Grab this used copy and experience a classic Mexican comedy without the new price tag.
