Mare Nostrum III is a 2019 jazz album by three acclaimed European musicians: Sardinian trumpeter Paolo Fresu, French accordionist Richard Galliano, and Swedish pianist Jan Lundgren. The trio formed twelve years earlier and has roots in their respective countries’ musical traditions, which they blend into their own distinctive voices. This third album completes a trilogy recorded across Italy, France, and Sweden, with this installment captured at Nilento Studio in Gothenburg. The group performs original compositions and standards that showcase their shared love of melody and poetic sensibility.

Released on Act Music + Vision, this single disc contains ten tracks including Blues Sur Seine, Pavese, Love Land, The Windmills Of Your Mind, I’te Vurria Vasà, Le Jardin Des Fées, Del Soldato In Trincea, Ronneby, Love Theme From The Getaway, and Human Requiem.
