Laurel and Hardy star in this 1934 musical comedy fantasy directed by Charles Rogers and Gus Meins. Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy play Stannie Dum and Ollie Dee, toy makers who scheme to save Mother Peep’s shoe from the villainous Barnaby by borrowing money from their employer. The film features an enchanted world populated by Mother Goose characters, elaborate musical numbers, and the duo’s signature slapstick comedy, all centered around a spectacular parade of six-foot wooden soldiers.

This DVD release from MGM presents the film in both colorized and original black-and-white versions on a single disc, with a runtime of 77 minutes and an Approved rating.
