Mandie and the Forgotten Christmas is a 2011 family mystery film directed by Joy Chapman. Amanda Waters stars as Mandie Shaw, a girl navigating life at boarding school during the Christmas season. When Mandie ventures into the school’s forbidden attic, she uncovers a mysterious secret tied to a long-forgotten Christmas. Her headmistress, Miss Heathwood, actively discourages the holiday and warns Mandie away from her discovery, but pursuing the truth becomes essential to understanding what happened. Based on the Mandie book series by Lois Gladys Leppard, this film follows earlier adaptations including Mandie and the Secret Tunnel and Mandie and the Cherokee Treasure.
