Man on Fire is a 2004 action thriller directed by Tony Scott and starring Denzel Washington as John Creasy, a burned-out former CIA operative struggling with his demons. When a friend arranges for Creasy to work as a bodyguard for nine-year-old Pita Ramos (Dakota Fanning) in Mexico City, he slowly begins to reconnect with life and find purpose. His fragile redemption shatters when Pita is kidnapped, driving Creasy to pursue those responsible with brutal, unrelenting vengeance.
