Magic Music is a Colorado-based rock band with roots tracing back to the 1970s, recognized as the state’s first jam band. After members pursued separate careers while maintaining their connection, they reunited for this 2016 album produced by Tim Goodman, a longtime collaborator known for his work with the Doobie Brothers, Emmylou Harris, and Johnny Cash, as well as co-founding the platinum-selling country rock group Southern Pacific. The project brought together an impressive lineup including Jimmy Haslip from the Yellow Jackets, Tommy Major, and Scarlet Rivera from Bob Dylan’s band, along with guest appearances from John McFee, Billy Payne, and others, creating a folk-influenced rock sound that represents four decades of musical connection and brotherhood.

This is a single-disc CD released on Bright Sun Records, featuring ten tracks including “Bring The Morning Down,” “Bright Sun Bright Rain,” “Gandy Dancer,” and “Carolina Wind.” A used copy from us means you own a piece of this long-awaited reunion project at a fraction of retail cost.
