Luciano Pavarotti’s legendary tenor voice shines throughout this 2005 collection from Decca, drawing primarily from recordings made during his peak years in the 1970s and 1980s. The album spans beloved opera arias including “La Donna È Mobile” from Verdi’s Rigoletto, “Una Furtiva Lagrima” from Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore, and “Che Gelida Manina” from Puccini’s La Bohème, along with showpieces from La Traviata, Tosca, Manon Lescaut, and other classic works. Pavarotti’s golden tone, impeccable phrasing, and natural musicality demonstrate why he remains one of the greatest tenors of all time.

This two-disc set features opera arias on the first disc and a mix of traditional songs and vocal pieces on the second, including selections from Pavarotti’s earliest 1964 Decca recordings. The collection showcases his remarkable range, warm communication, and flawless technical control across decades of performances. Own this essential recording of one of classical music’s most celebrated voices at a fraction of retail cost.
