Living for Today is a pop album by Petula Clark, released in 2017 when the legendary singer was 84 years old. Spanning a recording career of over seven decades, Clark assembled a collection of songs she enjoyed performing, most recorded in London at a small studio nestled in a garden. The album features original compositions alongside covers, including a rendition of the Beatles’ “Blackbird” and a reinterpreted version of Peggy Lee’s “Fever” that takes on a rocky edge. Clark also explores different musical styles throughout the record, from country swing to subtle dance sensibilities, bringing fresh interpretations to each track.

This CD contains eleven tracks including “Living For Today,” “While You See A Chance,” “A Miracle To Me,” “Endgame,” “Sincerely,” “Pour Être Aimée De Toi,” and “Never Let Go,” among others. The album was produced with collaborators John Owen Williams and Paul Visser on the UK recordings. Pick up this used CD from us and own a piece of Clark’s enduring musical legacy.
