Leap is an animated adventure film released in December 2016 from The Weinstein Company. Directed by Eric Summer and Éric Warin, the movie follows Félicie, an eleven-year-old orphan with dreams of becoming a professional dancer in Paris. When she and her inventive best friend Victor escape their orphanage to pursue their ambitions, Félicie must navigate life at the prestigious Opera Ballet School while concealing her true background. Without formal training, she faces fierce competition from wealthy classmates, particularly the antagonistic Camille and her scheming mother. Along the way, an unlikely mentor in the form of the school’s custodian and Victor’s steadfast support help Félicie work toward achieving her goals.

This two-disc Blu-ray release runs 89 minutes and carries a PG rating. The film features voice work from Elle Fanning, Dane DeHaan, Carly Rae Jepsen, Maddie Ziegler, and Terrence Scammell, with a screenplay by Carol Noble, Eric Summer, and Laurent Zeitoun.
