Arnold Schwarzenegger stars in this 1993 action-comedy directed by John McTiernan. A young boy receives a magical movie ticket from an old projectionist and is transported into his favorite action film, where he becomes the sidekick to Jack Slater, a tough cop hero played by Schwarzenegger. When Jack’s nemesis, played by Charles Dance, obtains the ticket and escapes into the real world, the action spills out of the screen, and Jack must confront the fact that he is merely a fictional character. The film also features Anthony Quinn, Art Carney, Austin O’Brien, and F. Murray Abraham.
