Land of Mine is a 2015 Danish war drama directed by Martin Zandvliet that explores the aftermath of World War II. Set in May 1945, the film follows a group of young German prisoners of war who are captured by the Danish army and forced to clear over two million land mines from the Danish coastline using only their bare hands. With minimal training and facing impossible odds, these soldiers discover that their struggle continues long after the fighting has ended.
