Junk Dreams is a 2010 documentary following brothers Ernie and Charlie Borgman, both in their 70s, as they embark on an ambitious sailing expedition. The two men pilot a 29-foot Chinese junk boat on a 1,627-mile voyage through the Inside Passage, navigating the waters along the Canadian and Alaskan coasts and into the Gulf of Alaska. Battling torrential rain, rough seas, engine failures, and broken masts, the brothers confront the raw challenges of the ocean while pursuing adventure and rediscovering vitality in their later years.

This DVD release captures the brothers’ two-and-a-half-month journey as a meditation on family, aging, and the enduring human spirit. A used copy lets you experience this inspiring adventure at a fraction of the cost of a new one.
