Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer is a 2011 live-action comedy directed by John Schultz and based on Megan McDonald’s popular book series. Heather Graham stars alongside Jordana Beatty as third-grader Judy Moody, who dreams of having the most thrilling summer ever. When her best friends Rocky and Amy leave town and her parents head to California, Judy finds herself stuck at home with her brother Stink and under the care of their mysterious Aunt Opal, whom she’s never met. What begins as a disappointing summer takes an unexpected turn when Aunt Opal proves to be surprisingly cool and full of surprises that spark genuine adventure and excitement.
