A Weekend at the Greek was filmed over two nights at Berkeley’s Greek Theatre and showcases Johnson’s expanded four-piece band alongside guest appearances from fellow Brushfire Records artists. Live in Japan documents the earlier trio lineup performing in Japan at the close of his worldwide tour, featuring songs from his first two albums plus an early version of a track that would appear on In Between Dreams. Both films blend concert footage with intimate interviews and backstage moments, directed by The Malloys.
