Ostâd Elâhi’s 1996 album showcases the master musician performing sacred compositions and improvisations on the tanbur, a traditional lute central to Iranian musical tradition. The recording captures his virtuosic command of modes and melodic invention across four extended pieces that blend structured suites with spontaneous musical exploration.

This CD contains four tracks spanning over an hour of music, including the extended Jelo Shâhi Suite, the Ey Dáwud Suite with hymns, Suite Sahari, and Sâru Khâni. A used copy from us means you own this window into classical Iranian music without the cost of a new release.
