In Heaven There Is No Beer is a 2012 documentary directed by David Palamaro that explores the Los Angeles Kiss or Kill music scene between 2002 and 2007. The film chronicles how a group of bands, including Bang Sugar Bang, rejected the commercial pay-for-play model dominating the Sunset Strip and the pretentious atmosphere of the Silverlake scene to create their own community. Built on affordable venues, cheap drinks, and genuine friendship, these musicians prioritized collaboration and quality music over industry trends and apathetic crowds.

This single-disc DVD from MVD Visual runs 88 minutes and carries a not-rated designation. The documentary features performances and interviews with members of King Cheetah, Dollyrots, Bang Sugar Bang, and other bands central to the scene.
