I Love Lucy Season One Volume 2 collects episodes 4 through 7 from the 1951 CBS sitcom that launched one of television’s most beloved comedies. Starring Lucille Ball as Lucy Ricardo and Desi Arnaz as her bandleader husband Ricky, the series follows Lucy’s endless schemes to break into show business, which inevitably drag her best friend Ethel into chaos. This volume includes “Lucy Thinks Ricky Is Trying to Murder Her,” where a misunderstanding sends Lucy into a panic, “The Quiz Show,” featuring Lucy competing on a television contest, “The Audition,” which showcases Ball’s physical comedy talents as she impersonates a professional clown, and “The Seance,” a riotous episode with Ethel attempting to contact the supernatural.

Released on a single DVD by CBS, this edition runs two hours and carries a TV-PG rating. Bonus features include a behind-the-scenes photo gallery, a radio broadcast that influenced a later television episode, guest cast information, and the show’s original opening sequence.
