The Houses October Built is a found-footage horror collection spanning two films from 2014 and 2017. Directed by Bobby Roe and Zack Andrews, the series follows five friends-Brandy Schaefer, Ian Roberts, Jeff Larson, Jim Tavare, and others-as they travel across America in an RV during Halloween season, documenting haunted attractions and hayrides. What begins as a quest to experience the most extreme scares becomes a descent into genuine terror when they discover that the line between theatrical effects and real danger has vanished, leading them back into contact with the very forces that nearly claimed their lives.

This DVD release contains both films on a single disc with a combined runtime of three hours and ten minutes. The presentation is in widescreen format with English Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound, and both films carry an NR rating. RLJ Entertainment brings this double feature to home video, offering a chance to own these found-footage horrors as a complete set at a used price.
