Heroes Last Forever

CD Details

Heroes Last Forever is a 2011 folk and country album by Antsy McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours, recorded at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis. The twelve tracks blend original compositions with covers, showcasing McClain’s rockabilly influences and the musicians who have shaped his life both on and off stage. Recorded with the Nashville-based Troubadours lineup featuring Chris Long on drums, Adam Bond on bass, Pauly Zarb on keyboards and percussion, and Bobby Cochran on lead guitar, the album explores McClain’s personal heroes and the people who matter most to him as an artist and individual.

This CD was produced by McClain with mixing by Gary Smith and associate production from longtime collaborator Brian Gavron. The track listing spans from “Everything’s A Dollar” and “A Poor Man’s Education” to humorous originals like “Aunt Beulah’s Road Kill Overcoat,” plus a cover of Eddie Cochran’s “Summertime Blues.” Grab this used copy and own a piece of music history recorded in the same studio where rock and roll legends once performed.
