Director Robert Mugge created two documentaries celebrating Hawaiian culture. Hawaiian Rainbow, completed in 1987, surveys the diverse styles of Hawaiian music. Kumu Hula: Keepers of a Culture, finished in 1989 with cultural consultant Vicky Holt Takamine, examines both ancient and contemporary traditions of Hawaiian dance and the kumu hula (master dance teachers) who preserve this knowledge.

This DVD contains both 85-minute films, transferred to HD from original 16mm film and restored. A single disc introduction to Hawaiian cultural heritage, this used copy offers you the chance to own these documentaries at a fraction of retail cost.
