This double feature brings together two comedies starring Adam Sandler from the mid-1990s. Happy Gilmore (1996), directed by Dennis Dugan, follows a washed-up hockey player who stumbles upon an extraordinary gift for golf and joins the PGA tour to earn money and save his grandmother’s house, only to clash with the tour’s establishment and its top competitor. Billy Madison (1995), directed by Tamra Davis, features Sandler as a 27-year-old man who decides to return to school from first grade onward to prove himself worthy of inheriting his father’s hotel empire, while a rival named Eric Gordon schemes to sabotage his progress. Both films are rated PG-13 and were written by Sandler and Tim Herlihy.

Released on DVD by Universal Studios, this single-disc collection runs three hours and three minutes total. You can own both comedies on one disc at a fraction of what you would spend buying them separately.
