Movie / Show Details

Happy Feet is a 2006 animated musical comedy directed by George Miller about Mumble, a young emperor penguin living in Antarctica who cannot sing like his peers but possesses an extraordinary gift for tap dancing. In a penguin colony where singing is the traditional way to attract mates, Mumble’s inability to vocalize puts him at odds with his community, especially with Gloria, the penguin he loves, who expects a heartfelt song. When fishermen threaten the survival of the entire colony, Mumble’s dancing talent and bravery prove invaluable, ultimately winning Gloria’s heart and saving his people. The film features voice work from Robin Williams and other talented performers, with choreography that brings the dance sequences to life.
