Gumby Essentials Vol. 1 brings together beloved episodes of the stop-motion animated series that debuted in 1957. Created by Arthur Clokey and featuring the voice work of Art Clokey, Dal McKennon, and Norma MacMillan, the show follows the adventures of Gumby, a flexible clay character who embarks on fantastical journeys with his friends. This collection spans three decades of the series, drawing from the 1950s, 1960s, and 1980s, with each episode personally selected by Joe Clokey, son of the show’s creator, to represent the most essential and popular installments from each era.

The DVD contains one disc with a total runtime of one hour and fifty-eight minutes, rated TV-G for family viewing. All episodes have been digitally remastered and restored with their original soundtracks intact, preserving the classic charm of this pioneering animated series.
