The Disappearance of Flight 412 is a science fiction mystery made for television in 1974. Glenn Ford stars as Colonel Pete Moore, who oversees the Whitney Radar Test Group as it grapples with unexplained electrical problems in its aircraft. When Moore dispatches a four-man crew on a routine test flight, their jet detects three mysterious radar signals, prompting two fighter jets to scramble and vanish without explanation. A secretive military intelligence unit called Digger Control, tasked with suppressing UFO reports, intercepts and grounds Flight 412. Left in the dark about his crew’s fate, Moore launches his own investigation into the strange occurrences.

This single-disc DVD release runs 72 minutes and carries a not-rated designation from NBC. The film features Bradford Dillman, David Soul, Guy Stockwell, and Robert F. Lyons alongside Ford, with direction by Jud Taylor and writing by George Simpson and Neal R. Burger. Grab this used copy and experience a piece of 1970s television science fiction.
