Girls on Top is a British sketch comedy series from 1985 featuring Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French, who also co-wrote the show alongside Ruby Wax. The program follows four women sharing a flat in Chelsea as they navigate absurd situations and musical performances. Saunders and French star alongside Tracey Ullman and Ruby Wax, with Joan Greenwood playing their formidable landlady. Created by directors Ed Bye and Paul Jackson, the series combines character-driven comedy with musical interludes, including a theme song by Squeeze members Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook.
