Ray Charles released Genius Loves Company in 2004 as his final studio album, a blues and jazz collection featuring duets with contemporary artists on Concord Records. The album showcases Charles performing standards and beloved songs alongside guest vocalists, with tracks including “You Don’t Know Me,” “Fever,” “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word,” and “Here We Go Again,” among others. The project brought together Charles with multiple collaborators to create an album that became one of music’s most significant recordings.

This 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition combines a CD with a DVD and expanded booklet. The CD contains the original album plus two bonus tracks. The DVD features “The Making of Genius Loves Company,” a mini-documentary with in-studio footage and interviews with guest artists and producer Phil Ramone documenting the album’s creation, along with historic photographs from Norman Seef’s photo session with Ray Charles.
