CD Details
Fun DMC is a hip-hop album by People Under The Stairs, released in 2008. The duo of Thes One and Double K created this 20-track record entirely on their own, avoiding outside producers and guest emcees in favor of maintaining complete creative control. Working in Thes One’s home studio, the pair crafted intricate beats, rhymes, and scratching while keeping the spirit of hip-hop as an enjoyable art form at the forefront. The album captures a golden era of the genre while feeling fresh and relevant, balancing technical precision with the fundamental joy of making music.
This CD release features tracks including “Swan Fever,” “Step Bacc,” “Up Yo Spine (Fishbucket Pt. 3),” “The Fun,” “The Grind,” “Anotha’ (BBQ),” “The Ultimate 144,” “Letter 2 C/O The Bronx,” “Party Enemy No. 1,” and “Enjoy,” among others. The album comes with a comic book written by the rappers themselves. Grab this used copy and own a record that represents the duo’s most sonically sophisticated work to date.
