Brigham Young University released this collection of four faith-based dramatic shorts in 1969, directed by Judge Whitaker and Wetzel O. Whitaker. The centerpiece, Johnny Lingo, tells the story of a South Pacific trader whose unconventional approach to a marriage negotiation changes everything. When he offers an extraordinary bride price for a girl others consider plain, his actions set in motion a remarkable transformation that reveals her true worth. Alongside this narrative are three additional stories: The Mailbox, Uncle Ben, and Christmas Snows, Christmas Winds. Together, these shorts explore themes of compassion, understanding, and faith through family-friendly storytelling.

This single DVD contains all four shorts with a combined runtime of approximately 25 minutes, presented in their original format by Brigham Young University. The collection features performances by Blaizdel MaKee, Francis L. Urry, Makee K. Blaisdell, and Naomi Kahoilua, with writing by Claire Whitaker and Patricia McGerr. Own these enduring LDS stories on physical media at a used price.
