Forgiven is a 1878-set western directed by and starring Alan Autry, who also co-wrote the film with Greg Grey. After serving time in prison for a crime he did not commit, Jake Kincaid is released and driven by two goals: revenge against those who framed him and recovery of the gold he was falsely accused of stealing. His journey leads him to the small town of Fairplay, California, where he discovers that love holds greater power than vengeance and that redemption matters more than riches. The film carries an inspirational, faith-based message in the tradition of classic westerns.
